Why am I being written up now??

I've worked at walmart for three years. For the last year I have not been in any kind of trouble. Sure I have missed five days in the last year and have had my share of tardies. We have had a new assistant for the last five days. Out of the nowhere I was called into the office. Not having any clue I assumed he wanted to talk to me about priorities for the night in my area. I was surprised to find my self getting a written coaching for attendance. If that was the case, my attendance would of had me D dayed and beyond. I had not been give a verbal in the past, and had not had any idea my attendance had become an issue and had been given no warning. He picked me out of the computer for an 11 minute late tardy and decided to pull up my past. There are people that miss days of work every day. So since I've been made an example these people can keep their jobs and clean record? What sence does this make? Can I be treated this way? I feel I may have to quit after three years, If I'm going to have to a man that treats people this way.
