: In today's world, truth is distorted and misconstured by everyone. Nihilism is a movement that perceives the worthlessness of life on Earth. Narcissism proclaims that only "I" matter over anyone else. Thus, the outcrops are people who find meaning in politics and a society that worships movie stars and musicians. Surely LIFE MUST MEAN SOMETHING MORE?!Life does. Whether you are a religous fundamentalist or an athiest, WE must realize that life is either meant to be a place of preparation for growth in the afterlife or it is meant to be a place where are potential is forever limited and mankind can find no solace knowing that his/her life will last only for a speck of time in history. The media does not give us any room for advancement when it criticizes only one side of an arguement. Truth is what we should seek instead of looking only for ourselves.
