Well guess who hasn't had a formal training in economics or politics? As a Classical Liberal I would agree that taxation, as a general rule, amounts to slavery. However, you go too far.

Taxation is not simply about equity - it's also about correcting market failures e.g. Pigouvian taxes on environmental externalities, the provision of Public goods which would be inefficiently provided by the marketplace, Pigouvian subsidies to merit goods such as Education and Health which would again be inefficiently provided by the market.

Your sentiment is right, that there is far too much government spending and taxation; unfortunately you're just a tad blind to the issues. Police, armed forces etc. can't be funded efficiently though voluntary funding due to free-riding. Just look at charity. Pick up an economics textbook - it'll be good for your soul.
